Gods
There are few gods a village, located in central Bulgaria. It is located about 15 km. from Gabrovo, and besides by car, you can also get there by a pleasant eco-path from Tryavna. Undoubtedly, the place captivates every visitor with its atmosphere. There are no streets in the village, but mainly cobbled roads that connect the beautiful houses in traditional Bulgarian style. Peace, nature and the Bulgarian are in abundance there. Bozhentsi has had the status of "Architectural-Historical Reserve" since 1964, and a large part of the restored houses today serve as guest houses and receive external visitors.
Belintash
From alien myths to Thracian finds and legends – this place is shrouded in mystery. And probably anyone who has been there will tell you that they felt different energy. Belintash is a rock sanctuary in the Rhodopes, about an hour's drive from Plovdiv. Popular mainly due to the interesting circular and rectilinear shapes in the stone, it is also surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Much can be said on the subject, but it is best to go and see for yourself the magic of the place. Nearby are "Krastova Gora" and "Karadzhov Kamak", which also hide their secrets.

Ecopath The Bride
Eco-trail "The Bride" is among the first places in our ranking for the most beautiful views. Access to the site is surprisingly easy as it is only about 15 minutes of gentle ascent on a path that starts at a road section just above Smolyan (in the direction of Pamporovo). If you like to contemplate the mountain peaks in the distance, lined up side by side, right here you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of The Rhodopes, surrounding you from everywhere.
Mount Petrahilya
This sea of mountains is revealed by Mount Petrahilya. Only an hour and a half drive from Sofia, the city of Teteven will reveal to you the unearthly beauty of Stara Planina. And the landscape in the picture is only one side of the coin. This route in particular is quite steep and although (as you can see) it is worth the climb, there are others much more accessible eco paths in the surrounding area which will also enrich you with divine views. We recommend "Under the Splashes of the Waterfall". And let's remember what Ivan Vazov said about this Bulgarian region:
If I had not come to Teteven, I too would have remained a foreigner to Mother Bulgaria. Your region is full of such charms that I am in awe! I've been to Switzerland and other places around Europe, I've also crossed Bulgaria, but I haven't seen a more magical end!
Ravnogor
Another magical place in The Rhodopes, which is worth visiting. About an hour and a half away from Plovdiv, Ravnogor is a mountain village in one of the most beautiful regions of Bulgaria. It is said that the cleanest air on the Balkan Peninsula was measured there. And if it comes to energy - right by Ravnogor, more than anywhere else, I have felt the majesty of the Rhodope Mountains. For a pleasant walk and breathtaking views, the places "Bekovi Skali" and "Chervenata Skala" are suitable. Both have gazebos and benches for relaxation. The first destination is about a 40-minute walk from the end of the village, and the second - about a 10-minute walk.

Ecopath and Borov Kamak waterfall
If you are in Sofia and the Rhodopes are far from you, you can enjoy an adventure in Vrachanskyi Balkan. The finale of the "Borov Kamak" eco-trail will welcome you with a view of an over 60-meter waterfall. The trail starts from the northern part of the village of Zgorigrad (a little above Vratsa), where you can even take a taxi in about 6-7 minutes. During the ascent along the 2 kilometer route, many water streams are revealed around you, and in front of you – wooden stairs and structures facilitating the way up. Until waterfall it takes about an hour and a half to walk. The trail is suitable for people of all ages, but it is recommended to be "armed" with at least a little adventurous spirit and strong knees.
