Friends, it is no lie that most of our inspiration for traveling and rediscovering Bulgaria comes from Instagram. This is our favorite platform, where we find unique and great people who share our passion - the love of traveling around Bulgaria. Such are Ralitsa and Hristo, and we found them through their common profile @hr_vibes / in principle we don't like common profiles, but when they are so fresh we can't resist 😀 /. We asked them what connected them and here is what they said:

Idea for a Sunday day trip near Sofia…
🚗 The idea for our whole trip came absolutely spontaneously on Friday. We decided to take advantage of the still good weather and the few completely free days we have. We selected the destinations for half an hour, made a route and a plan and now we feel very satisfied because we had a great day 🍂🏞 The locations we recommend for a day vacation near Sofia are Lakatnishki skali and Cherepishki monastery.
Boat trip on the river Ropotamo
This is their offer for a walk on the sea .. “An alternative offer on a beach day is a walk in the Ropotamo reserve and a boat ride on the river. At the moment, only sailing against the river is offered, not towards the estuary. ”
🚗 Cars are parked in a parking lot next to the main road.
👣 A wooden bridge and a path through the forest lead to the place where you can get on a boat.
💵 The price is BGN 15. The walk lasts about 50 minutes in both directions. Ships sail every half hour.

Thracian rock sanctuary, Beglik Tash
⛰ Researchers found that in this place the ancient Thracians have performed rituals and recreated man's cult of nature. These huge pieces of rock and the way they are arranged are very impressive. How they were relocated and whether there was "foreign help" in building the sanctuary remains a mystery. ⁉️⁉️

The village of Kisiytsite
🏔 Today we will "take" you to a village as an example. Nestled at the foot of the Balkans, the village of Kisiytsite is one of the many Tryavna villages. What makes it different is that in recent years it has become an open-air gallery. Thanks to the plein airs for sculpture organized by the locals, the village now boasts many works scattered throughout the village. Wood and stone sculptures peek out from every corner.
On the stone walls and walls of old houses are painted proto-Bulgarian calendars, zodiac signs, and next to them, in a box is carefully placed all the necessary information to know what we are actually looking at.
There are benches and gazebos throughout the village. At such a rest stop, an indicator is made of the peaks that are visible opposite. There is again a box with information, as well as chess and playing cards. We are amazed at how everything is thought out. Admirations to these people !!! We recommend that if you visit Tryavna, you can jump to the village of Kisiytsite. You will not go wrong. ✅
