HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL
132 school was founded on September 1, 1957 as a primary. Classes begin on September 16. At its opening, it has Dimitar Ganev as its patron. In the first two years there is no separate building and classes are held in the 25th school. The school acquired its own building at the beginning of the school year 1959/1960.

In 1973/1974 the first sports classes were accepted, and in 1985 it was officially declared a secondary sports school of DFS "Slavia". At that time there were 33 sports schools in Bulgaria, and the state allocated solid funds for the maintenance of students in them, which provides an appropriate and financially secured regime of education and sports training. Soon the high professionalism of teachers and coaches paid off. The sports fame of the school in our country and around the world begins. Alumni of the school are world-renowned athletes:
Stefan Shalamanov- world junior champion in alpine skiing,
Catherine Aladzhova- two-time world chess champion for girls,
Nora Ivanova- world champion in athletics in the 800 m for girls,
Asya Ramizova- world champion in acrobatics,
Evgenia Radanova- world champion in short track and world record holder in the 500 m,
Albena Denkova- world champion in figure skating for dance couples,
Dimitrinka Todorova- European champion in gymnastics, etc.
Over the years, many other famous athletes have come out of the school, of which the most famous today are: volleyball players Ivaylo Gavrilov, Tsanko Tsankov, Krassimir Stefanov, Andrey Zhekov, Matei Kaziiski and others; the football players Ivan Paskov, Chavdar Yankov and Dimitar Rangelov; Daniela Vlaeva and Marina Georgieva / short track /, Stefan Georgiev / alpine skiing /, Maria Kirkova / alpine skiing /, etc..
