  • 6 eggs
  • 100 g of bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 2 sausages, cut into rings
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil or butter

Method of preparation:

  1. Heat a pan on the fire and add the oil or butter.
  2. Fry the bacon and sausages until crispy.
  3. Crack the eggs into a bowl and add to the pan.
  4. Cook, stirring, until the eggs are done.

4. Mekkis prepared in nature

Necessary products for the molluscs:

  • 500 g of flour
  • 250 ml of warm water
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • A pinch of salt
  • Oil for frying

Method of preparation:

  1. Knead a soft dough from the flour, water, yeast and salt.
  2. Let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  3. Roll small balls of the dough and fry them in hot oil until golden.

Mekkis are wonderful both with cheese and honey, and served with homemade jam. If you have fresh berries around, like in our case wild strawberries, you can easily prepare a homemade jam, or simply garnish with the fresh berries.
