The starting point is located at the small square of the village of Sirishtnik, Pernishko, about 60 km from Sofia.
The route also has several features. The first is that there are almost no shady places and on hot days the climb is a challenge. Also, due to the large gradient, climbing becomes slower. On the other hand, the trail has no dangerous sections and there are enough benches where you can rest while contemplating the views that unfold around you.
After about an hour and a half of climbing, you will find yourself at the Pogledets shelter. Next to it there is a wooden tower, from which you can also see the nine mountains - Montenegro, Vitosha, Verilla, Golo Bardo, Rila, Pirin, Konivska, Zemenskai and Penkivska planina.
👉🏻 A little above the shelter is the mountain peak of Rudina mountain - Sirishtnishka Rudina peak (1172m), where the Bulgarian flag also flies.
