We are all well-acquainted with the sights of big cities like Sofia and Plovdiv, seaside resorts as they are Nessebar and Sozopol, or winter resorts such as Bansko and Pamporovo. However, it seems as if in their shadow remain the small Bulgarian towns, which in terms of their charm are not inferior to the above-mentioned ones. That is why today we will move to the town located only 5km from the ski resort of Bansko, namely - Razlog. The southwestern city has a population of just over 10,000. Razlog has a rather different appearance compared to the mass Bulgarian cities.

Even in the center you will be fascinated by the city park.
The cool and green park creates a sense of romance in its visitors. A walk along the promenade around the lake will give you the long-awaited peace. Already at the entrance, the two green figures make an impression - a man and a woman in love, who are literally above the waters of the lake. A little further on you will find a huge photo frame that is perfect for taking pictures. The centuries-old pines here will take care of both the fresh air and your rest, as well as the creation of a pleasant and beautiful atmosphere. Something interesting that you will find in the park is a summer calendar, one of the few found in Bulgaria.

A tower rises above Razlog with a breathtaking view.
The road to it is not long and begins not far from the center. For this purpose, you will need to reach the so-called Alley of steps, which with its 300 steps, located on the hill above the city, leads to the unique panoramic view. Your path will pass through successive "corridors" - "Meeting with the past", "Monument to engineer Petlarov", "Meeting with nature", "Resting place with an observation tower", "Researcher's stop", "Viewpoint", "Amphitheater ", "Zapeski Stop", "Rest Place - Lyulka", "Zvontsi Stop", "Christianity Stop in Razlozhko" and finally the Panoramic Tower. The path is relatively short, and at each object you will have a map in front of you with interesting information about the animal species here, the vegetation or about interesting people and events. Each "stop" is equipped with fully wooden deckchairs or chairs, which are already at a certain height above the city and, as you might guess, the view from them is more than great.
Along the way, you will also pass through interesting mini-sites
such as "Hotel" - a place in the shape of a rectangle where pots are stored, so if you think of it - bring one with you and be part of the challenge! The steps filled with so many sights actually take about 15 minutes to walk, so the tower is not far at all. The panoramic tower is iconic, but you certainly shouldn't have a fear of heights, because climbing it is a more or less extreme experience. But the frames to which it predisposes are once! From the top, a 360-degree view is revealed, which gives visibility to the majesty of the Pirin mountain, together with the most famous ski resort in our country - Bansko and its slopes. No matter where you turn, there is always a sense of timelessness in nature. On the other side of the tower are swings that guarantee a fun experience!
