If you start from Sofia we recommend that you reach at least Bov station and take a walk along the Vazova eco trail and why not to Skaklya waterfall. And why not go to Lakatnik and walk to the famous Lakatnik rocks. In both cases you can travel and return by train on the same day to the capital, and if you decide to extend your stay, the region offers many different accommodation options.

This is an amazing journey through the Rose Valley and many Revival villages filled with charm and beauty. We recommend that you do it in May to feel the aroma of roses. Take a walk to Koprivshtitsa or Karlovo - the towns are beautiful and full of history and beautiful places to see.
