The city is located at the foot of The Vratsa Balkans, which is directly related to the fact that in and around it there are many caves, waterfalls and rocks. Regional Vratsa Historical Museum, is the place where you can follow how the city has changed over the centuries. The museum also houses the largest Thracian treasure - The Rogozen treasure. The treasure was found in the Vratsa village of Rogozen, whence its name. Visit the museum in Vratsa if you want to see the largest treasure in Bulgaria.

The Tower of the Meshchi is the next place we highly recommend you visit. The materials from which it is built are rare and show that the tower is of a residential-defensive nature. Different floors look different and guarantee a really interesting tour. In the city, nestled under Balkans, many famous people were born. In connection with this, in Vratsa there is an abundance of houses-museums. One of the most authentic ones is the house-museum of Ivan Zambin, that of Dimitraki Hadjitoshev or the house-museum "Grigory Naidenov".
