It is interesting that in a sense here the houses and the streets merge, because most of them are made of the same stones. The panorama in the village is no less beautiful. And it is no coincidence that in Kovachevitsa you will feel like you are in the movies "Measure according to measure" and "Men's times", because they were filmed here.

Zheravna
The village of Zheravna is located in the eastern part of Stara Planina, Sliven region. Zheravna is another Bulgarian village that has preserved the spirit of past centuries. The history of the village tells that crafts and trade flourished here. And besides the stone streets and Renaissance houses¸ you may come across the recreation of some of the old Bulgarian activities – weaving rugs and carpets. All these Bulgarian villages from the Renaissance era are so alike, but also so different from each other, because each brings its own magic in terms of history, nature and architecture.
