Stara Zagora is a city located in South Bulgaria, at the foot of Stara Planina. The city of linden trees, as you may still encounter it, is the sixth largest in Bulgaria and is of particular importance for the economic development of the country. In the course of its history, the city was also called: Beroe, Augusta Traiana, Verea, Irinopolis, Borui, Eski Zagra and Zheleznik. The centuries-old history

One of the most authentic Roman streets in the city is the Ancient Forum Complex Augusta Traiana. Located in the center of the city, the archaeological site is home to a number of remains of a city dating back to the age of ancient Rome. You will enjoy this outdoor walk. Stara Zagora

is the birthplace of the famous Geo Milev, an eminent expressionist poet.
