Pobit Kamak near Sarnitsa is a declared natural landmark and is a solitary granite monolith with a height of about 4 meters. It is located in the Azmako area, just 500 meters from the village, on the left bank of the Dospat River. The place is easily accessible - there is a sign from the road between Velingrad and Sarnitsa, followed by a short dirt road.
The stone's origin is the subject of both scientific interest and local legend. According to one version, it is an ancient menhir - a cult stone erected by the inhabitants of the area. Another version describes it as a natural rock formation, shaped by erosion over millions of years.
Today, Pobit Kamak is a preferred place for short walks, taking photos and observing the characteristic Rhodope landscape around the Dospat River.
