The area "Petrova Niva" is a historical site in the Strandzha Mountains, associated with the Ilinden-Preobrazhensko Uprising of 1903. The congress was held here, at which the decision was made for an uprising in Edirne Thrace. The area houses a memorial complex with a monument, a museum and the church "St. Petka", dedicated to those who died for the freedom of Bulgaria. "Petrova Niva" is part of the 100 national tourist sites and is an important symbol of the struggles for national liberation.
