👉🏻 This is the third place of the Rhodope Triad. Krastova Gora is one of the largest Christian centers in Bulgaria.
📍It is located in the central part of the Rhodope Mountains, 60 km from Plovdiv. Its altitude is 1545m.
😇 As soon as you enter through the main arch, you can feel the strong energy that this place possesses. At the beginning of the complex is the Church of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary. From it up there is an alley, on both sides of which there are chapels dedicated to the 12 apostles. Going up the alley, you reach a small hill on which stands a large metal cross. It is claimed to be a copy of a 99-kilogram metal cross that Tsar Boris ||| donated in 1936 People say that the cross has the miraculous power to heal the terminally ill. And very close by in the area, there is a spring that also has the power to heal. They call it "Ayasmoto".
👉🏻 The reason why Krastova Gora attracts so many believers is the legend that a piece of Christ's cross is buried here. Most people come on the eve of Easter. With hope and prayers for health, they keep a night vigil waiting for the miracle of healing.
😍 The nature here is extremely beautiful and suitable for anyone wishing to enjoy peace, rest and beauty. The complex offers overnight stays, and campers can also stay on the wide meadow.
💚 Many years ago I was here in a tent for the first time. And recently, when I visited Krastova gora again, I felt the same emotion and made sure once again that good memories remain permanently in our minds.
