Built in the 18th century, the house was turned into a museum in 1937 to preserve the memories of Vasil Levski&#039;s life and work. The exposition includes personal belongings, photographs and documents related to the revolutionary activity of the Apostle. Kalofer and is dedicated to the life and work of the prominent Bulgarian poet and revolutionary. The museum is housed in the home of the Botev family and consists of three exhibition halls that present the family history, Hristo Botev&#039;s participation in the national liberation movement and his poetry. Guests can also see Botev&#039;s personal library, his weapons and a collection of original manuscripts. With a height of 124.5 meters, it is the highest permanent waterfall on the Balkan Peninsula. Hiking trails lead to the waterfall, and the trek takes approximately 5-6 hours from Kalofer. The walk will take you about 40 minutes of easy walking, and if you are with children you can enjoy the wonderful park and the picturesque views around.
