In this article, we will take a look at some of the most charming lakes located on Bulgarian soil...<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The seven Rila lakes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Not one, but as many as seven lakes rise in the majestic <a href=\"https:\/\/feelbulgaria.net\/en\/?r3d=rila-digital-book\">Rila mountain<\/a> at an altitude of 2,500m. This group of lakes is one of the most visited by tourists. The name of each lake corresponds to the way it looks from a bird&#039;s eye view. The highest is the &quot;Tear&quot;, whose waters are crystal clear and mirror-like. Lake Okoto is the deepest circus lake in Bulgaria. Lake Bliznaka is the largest in terms of area, and Lake Babreka has the steepest banks. The rarely mentioned Lake Trilistnika has an irregular shape. The waters of the Fish Lake are the shallowest. The series of lakes ends with the Lower Lake, where the water from all the others flows. Its waters are sweet. Srebarna is located near <a href=\"https:\/\/feelbulgaria.net\/en\/2022\/01\/16\/reki-bulgaria\/\">River<\/a> Danube, in the area of the town of Silistra. The fauna here is the reason why the lake is such a preferred tourist destination. It has been proven that the lake is part of the main migration route of migratory birds from Europe to Africa and back. Here you can catch a glimpse of more than 220 species of birds. The area is home to over 40 species of mammals, over 10 species of reptiles and a variety of fish and amphibians. On the territory of the Srebarna reserve, you can also visit a museum of stuffed animals. Arcutino is part of the protected area of the Ropotamo reserve. Only 10 km from the seaside town of Primorsko is this marshy lake, also known as Mecheshko Blato. Sand dunes separate the lake from the Black Sea. From the flora here you will meet the beautiful sand lily. Arcutino offers more than a great view of the island of Saint Thomas, and it is the only place in Bulgaria where cacti grow. Some of the birds included in the Red Book of Bulgaria are nesting around - heron, owl, mute swan. natural lake in our country is in itself reason enough to make you visit Lake Burgas. The lake is a shallow estuary. Its waters are salty, due to the connection with the Black Sea, thanks to which quite a few common aquatic inhabitants are found. 9 of the world&#039;s most endangered birds fly over it. Their names are: Clear Lake, Muddy Lake, Grassy Lake, Milushevo Lake, Plateno Lake, Lagera, Silazha and Osmanovi G\u00f6l. The flora and fauna here form an incredible natural picture, which turns a walk around the lakes into an unforgettable experience. The Rhodopes offer an abundance of meadows in this very area, which creates excellent camping conditions.
