Yordanovden or Epiphany is one of the most attractive and awaited Bulgarian holidays! \"\"This year, the boys from the village of Dorkovo will observe the tradition and custom of removing the holy Christian cross from the icy waters of the Mutnitsa river. The holiday will be celebrated to the sounds of 14 Rhodope kaba bagpipes, mulled wine and delicious lamb cheverme. The ceremonial water light will be held at 11:30 a.m. near the traditional place where the ritual takes place every year, namely the bridge next to the forestry in the village. All guests are welcome, and they will definitely remember the event - Yordanovden in Dorkovo is an event that should definitely be seen!<\/p>\n
