Located in central southern Bulgaria, Haskovo is the 12th largest city in Bulgaria. The city is of great importance for the whole of Europe, because it is from here that the fastest and most direct road passes, which ensures the connection of Europe with Asia and the Middle East. Haskovo is also close to our borders with Greece and Turkey. The numerous functions of the city make it attractive for tourism as well.<\/p>\n

One of the most impressive Thracian tombs - the Alexander Tomb is located in Haskovo. The story goes that the tomb belonged to a Thracian king or noble aristocrat. The tomb impresses with its unique frescoes. The replica of the tomb reads "Thracian Art in the Eastern Rhodopes" and is on display in the museum center.<\/p>\n
