When a holiday is planned to be held at home, then on the table you can see a variety of strong spirits. It can be homemade brandy, fruit liqueur, beer and, of course, homemade wine. Quite often, in addition to traditional breakfasts, there is also home-made wine at breakfast. In Bulgaria, every household has its own recipe <\/a>for making quality wine at home.<\/p>\n

Recommendations for making quality wine at home<\/h4>\n

1. To make wine, it is necessary to take only quality fruits. Spoiled or rotten fruit must be removed so as not to spoil the raw wine. The first step is to sort all the fruits, separating the suitable ones.<\/p>\n

2. Keep in mind that only glass and wooden vessels are recommended for winemaking. Mix the ingredients in the container with either a plastic or wooden spoon. Traditionally, glass bottles or wooden barrels are used to "ripen" home wine.<\/p>\n

3. It is not recommended to wash fruits that are used to make wine, because special bacteria "live" on their surface, thanks to which the natural fermentation process takes place.<\/p>\n

4. Each stage of winemaking must be controlled. In addition, you must strictly adhere to the recipe. Otherwise, you won't end up with good wine, just vinegar. In addition, special attention is paid to the temperature regime in the winemaking process. In a cold room, natural fermentation cannot begin.<\/p>\n

5. If your grapes are not very sweet and juicy, then you need to add water and sugar at a certain stage of winemaking for fermentation. After all, this drink involves the use of yeast-free cooking technologies.<\/p>\n
