The village is part of Blagoevgrad district and is about 15 km from Gotse Delchev. From Leshten there is a unique view to <a href=\"https:\/\/feelbulgaria.net\/en\/2021\/05\/28\/pirin\/\">Pirin<\/a>. The narrow streets, along with the old houses, bear the memory and tell stories of the Bulgarian Revival. The authentic look of the restored houses recreates the spirit and atmosphere of several hundred years ago. Kovachevitsa is another hidden beauty of <a href=\"https:\/\/feelbulgaria.net\/en\/2021\/05\/28\/rodopi\/\">The Rhodopes<\/a>. The ancient houses, in which life was boiling until two centuries ago, attract tourists constantly. It is interesting that in a sense here the houses and the streets merge, because most of them are made of the same stones. The panorama in the village is no less beautiful. Zheravna is another Bulgarian village that has preserved the spirit of past centuries. The history of the village tells that crafts and trade flourished here. And besides the stone streets and Renaissance houses\u00b8 you may come across the recreation of some of the old Bulgarian activities \u2013 weaving rugs and carpets.
