The neo-Byzantine style cathedral is one of the 50 largest <a href=\"https:\/\/feelbulgaria.net\/en\/2021\/05\/28\/religiozni-mesta\/\">Christian churches<\/a> worldwide. It is a cross-domed basilica that is 45 meters high and the bell tower is over 50 meters high. The domes are gilded and the Christian temple has 12 bells that produce a unique ring. The interior of the church is also strikingly beautiful. Some of the decoration includes Italian marble, and one of the domes has the Lord&#039;s Prayer inscribed in gold letters. Also known as the Church of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, the architectural masterpiece was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It is located in the central part of Sofia and is a Russian Orthodox Church. It was designed by a Russian architect and built in the Revival style known mostly in Russia. The style of the religious temple is similar to Moscow&#039;s Russian churches of the 17th century. Both the exterior and interior are unforgettable. On the outside there are domes covered with gold, and on the inside there are unique icons that were painted by the same group of artists who painted the interior of the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. The church is definitely a must-visit destination and we can guarantee that it will leave a lasting and pleasant memory that will appear every time you think of Sofia.<\/p>\n<div Theater is the largest theater in Bulgaria and one of the country&#039;s most significant cultural treasures. It was established at the beginning of the 20th century and the bombing of Sofia caused serious damage to the building during the Second World War, but fortunately, the theater was renovated a few years after the end of the war.
